Addressing Gaps in Mental Health Services 

MHAC was the lead agency in developing Metro Crisis Services, Inc., an ambitious system change initiative that will result in 24/7 crisis services servings the Denver metro area.

MHAC developed this initiative by:

• Helping to raise over $2 million
• Engaging over 100 experts and stakeholders in the research and planning process
• Facilitating the CEO search, recruiting the board of directors, and creating broad-based political support

In early 2010, Metro Crisis Services, Inc., became its own independent 501c3 organization.
